Senior B Hurling Championship Round 4
Clodiagh Gaels 4-24 Shamrocks 0-11. Well done to the lads on a comprehensive win in Glenisk O’Connor Park on Saturday evening. We were ahead 2-8 to 0-8 at the break with two Dwayne Dunne goals being the difference between the sides. We had points in the first half from Conor Langton, Dwayne Dunne, Sean Rattigan and Clint Horan.
In the second half we outscored our opponents 2-16 to 0-3. We kept the points coming through Dwayne Dunne, Liam Langton, Conor Langton, Dylan Hyland, Clint Horan before a cracking goal from Conor Langton put us well out of sight. Further points from Cathal Curran, Ruairí Dunne, Sean Rattigan, Conor Langton and Dwayne Dunne put the result beyond doubt before a goal from Cathal Curran on the full time whistle saw us finish the game strong. We face Kilcormac-Killoughey in two weeks in the final group game.

We conceded the walkover to St Rynaghs as we could not fulfil the fixture.

The Tiernan Grennan Memorial Golf Classic
We are delighted to be able to name our golf classic in memory of Tiernan Grennan who passed away in May of this year. We would like to thank the Grennan family for their permission to name the golf classic after Tiernan.
The rescheduled Tiernan Grennan Memorial Golf Classic will now take place on Friday the 8th of September in Tullamore Golf Club. Team of 4 €200, Tee Box €50. Refreshments served on the 10th hole. All entered teams for the original event will be contacted in the coming weeks regarding their tee times. For any questions or queries, you can contact Philip Kelly on 0872964295.
