Clodiagh Gaels vs Kilcormac-Killoughey is on Sunday the 10th of September at 12pm in Cappincur.

Junior A Hurling Championship Round 5
Clodiagh Gaels 1-13 Brosna Gaels 0-17. In what was the battle of the Gaels unfortunately the men from the Brosna came out on top Thursday night last. We struggled for large parts of the first half until near half time when Diarmuid Brady sent a speculative ball into the edge of the square where Joel Troy had positioned him. We’ll let Joel and Diarmuid trash it out to decide who’s claiming it. We went in level at the break 1-6 to 0-9 after we finished the first half well. We continued where we left off in the second half with a string of scores from Padraic Horan, Anthony Gorman, Peter Berry and Joel Troy. Unfortunately when we need the levelling score we couldn’t come up with it. We finish second in the group and progress to a quarter final in two weeks.
Senior B Hurling Championship Round 5
Clodiagh Gaels 1-17 Kilcormac-Killoughey 1-16. We came out on top in Clareen on Sunday afternoon which saw us top the group and face Birr in the semi final in 2 weeks. It was a titanic battle which was seperated by a solitary point. Liam Langton rattled the net for us just after half time.
Junior B Hurling Championship Round 5
Our Junior B game vs Belmont was called off on Sunday evening as we conceded the walkover. That ends our involvement in this years Junior B Hurling Championship.

The Tiernan Grennan Memorial Golf Classic
The rescheduled Tiernan Grennan Memorial Golf Classic takes place on this Friday the 8th of September in Tullamore Golf Club. Team of 4 €200, Tee Box Sponsorship €50.
