Junior A Football Championship Semi Final
Clodiagh Gaels 1-6 Kilcormac-Killoughey 1-9
Unfortunately our run in the Junior A football championship is over as Kilcormac-Killoughey defeated us by 3 points in Cappincur. We left ourselves with a lot of work to do in the second half as we went in 1-5 to 0-0 down at half time. We came out in the second half knowing we had work to do. We outscored our opponents 1-6 to 0-4 in the second half but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. Thanks to Pat Cooney, Ian Jones and Tony Kenny for all the time and effort they put in this year with the lads.

The Tiernan Grennan Memorial Golf Classic
The Tiernan Grennan Memorial Golf Classic took place on Friday last in Tullamore Golf Club. We were delighted that the weather stayed good and everyone enjoyed the day out. The Clodiagh Gaels committee would like to thank all the teams that took part, all the team and tee box sponsors and to all of the volunteers that took time out of their hectic schedules to make the day the success it was.
