We are delighted to announce our managerial appointments for the season ahead.
Ollie Hally will take over our Senior B Hurlers. Ollie comes with a wealth of experience at a young age. He was involved with the Laois minor hurlers, then taking the step up to being a team coach with Laois U20s under Enda Lyons. He then took the reins as Laois U20 hurling manager when Lyons departed the role. Ollie served as Laois U20 manager for two years before stepping down from the position in 2023. Ollie will be assisted by Shamrocks man Paddy Guinan who will be a hurling coach and Brian Lawlor who will be a selector.
There are a few familiar faces back as management of our Junior A Hurlers. Ned Casey will manage the team in 2024. Ned has served as a selector of our senior team under the previous managements of James Young and Tony Doran. Thomas Brady and Johnny Sheeran are on board as selectors with Ned.
Our Junior A Football management is as it was in 2023 except for the addition of Gavin Rooney who will come on board as a coach/selector in 2024. We are delighted that Pat Cooney, Tony Kenny and Ian Jones have returned for another year at the helm and we are delighted with the addition of Gavin to the management team.
