Founded in 2003, Na Fianna Football are a juvenile gaelic football club who cater for players from the adult clubs in our parish who are Ballinagar, Clodiagh Gaels and Raheen GAA clubs.
Na Fianna field teams at each age group from u6 to u20, numbers are strong across each age group with 2 teams playing in championship competitions at u13 and u15 grades in 2022.
The club have achieved notable successes since 2003, regularly competing at the latter stages of the A championship, the highlight of which was a Minor A championship victory in 2019, followed by a Minor B title in 2020.
Na Fianna have a strong representation across the Offaly underage development squads, with four Na Fianna players part of the Offaly Senior Football squad that played vs Westmeath in 2022. Na Fianna players have progressed to play for their adult clubs and have been part of championship winning teams in Ballinagar, Clodiagh Gaels and Raheen in recent years.
Na Fianna welcomes players of all ages and abilities to get involved to experience the physical and mental health benefits of playing GAA, as well as teaching lessons for life in relation to teamwork, resilience and appreciating the different skills people have.
