SBK vs Na Fianna
Na Fianna travelled to Ballyskenach for the final group game of the U15 hurling league on Thursday evening.
After two wins previously, Na Fianna were in a strong position to progress from the group stages.
They got off to a great start with an early Finn Murray goal. Despite Na Fianna playing very well, they missed some early chances while SBK made the most of their chances to score two goals.
A second goal for Na Fianna by Paddy Sheil and points from play by Finn Murray, Paddy Sheil and two from Sean Dillon opened up a lead for Na Fianna to leave the halftime score:

SBK came out strongly at the start of the second half and brought themselves back into the lead with an early goal and points. Na Fianna weathered the early storm and a goal from Finn Murray brought the game level and both teams pushed hard for the win. A goal from a free for SBK gave an advantage to the home team with ten minutes left. But Na Fianna struck back with a late goal from Paddy Sheil after a great run and strike. Further points from both teams led to tense finish but Na Fianna held out in the end to secure 2nd place in the group and a re-match with Ferbane/Belmont in the league final in the coming weeks.
